Yep, rules. Read 'em. Abide by 'em. Or your sea creature powers may be revoked. Temporarily, or for good.

2. Spam: just don't do it. Thou also shalt not fill the forums with multiple threads on the same topic or sockpuppet.
3. Thou shalt not flame, harass, denigrate, spam, malign, or otherwise finger-point and name-call at ANYONE. This one's a biggy. This too can get you banned.
4. Squidstaff love interacting with smart front-line people, so they stop by the forums from time to time to hear your ideas and share updates. However, this isn't the place to post bugs or solicit admin action. Please send those requests through our feedback link.
5. The SquidU forum is a place for users to interact, to share ideas and inspiration (and yes, gripes... maybe another lensmaster can help) and have fun with their lenses. Try searching for an answer or visiting The Answer Deck.

If you have a green lens that you've made in the past 4 months, I'm looking for green lenses for a Squidoo based green living lens!
Why only lenses made in the past four months? I've promoted a lot of other green lenses on lenses of my own, so I'm looking to give newer lenses a chance.
When I have plenty to work with, I'll publish the results to the world. Over time, this should be a good backlink and hopefully a good source of traffic!
So, if you have a green lens you've published in the past 4 months approximately for the first time, feel free to post it here. I'd also like to have some green tips added to the lens to give it more meat, so if you have any that you'd like to share, I'll add them in!

What a good idea! Here's my contribution of three more "Green" type lenses - One relating to a Global Green Event, one to ways of using up leftover food to avoid waste and one, not about issues, but about ensuring that plants flourish by planting them in the right place - does that qualify? They are all recent.

Copenhagen - Candlelit Vigil Across the World - How effective was it?
"On December 12th 2009, thousands of groups of people around the world held a candlelit vigil to encourage world leaders to reach an agreement about measures to reduce climate change and use of finite resources. This is my experience of one such vigil in Crouch End, North London, and I wrote a poem about it, too, which is there for you to read." There is also a summary of the outcome of the summit meeting and what agreements were actually reached.

Thrifty ways to use up chicken and turkey leftovers
"You've had your roast dinner, now how can you use up the leftovers? These are flexible recipes I have devised and use myself to make delicious meals. The ingredients can be varied to suit what vegetables and trimmings you have to hand, and you can then add spices and flavourings to suit your own taste. Lots of photos and easy step-by-step instructions"

Ten Plants which tolerate Shade
"I have learnt by trial and horrible error which plants will actually like shady spots in the garden - it has taken me nearly fifty years to accept that sun-loving plants might flower in dappled shade, but are unlikely to flourish in full shade, so you need to find plants which are suitable to the conditions. Lots of photographs and details about plants which do well in the shade."
