Yep, rules. Read 'em. Abide by 'em. Or your sea creature powers may be revoked. Temporarily, or for good.

2. Spam: just don't do it. Thou also shalt not fill the forums with multiple threads on the same topic or sockpuppet.
3. Thou shalt not flame, harass, denigrate, spam, malign, or otherwise finger-point and name-call at ANYONE. This one's a biggy. This too can get you banned.
4. Squidstaff love interacting with smart front-line people, so they stop by the forums from time to time to hear your ideas and share updates. However, this isn't the place to post bugs or solicit admin action. Please send those requests through our feedback link.
5. The SquidU forum is a place for users to interact, to share ideas and inspiration (and yes, gripes... maybe another lensmaster can help) and have fun with their lenses. Try searching for an answer or visiting The Answer Deck.
I've been revamping all of my lenses one by one...it occurred to me some had been up since 2007 with only minor changes & updates. It seems like I should do this every few months.
How about you guys?

I attack my tier 3 lenses - especially the ones near the tier 2 cutoff - for an hour each morning, 4 days a week.
With judicious use of labels, I keep lists of 'reworked this month' , another 'must rework' and I also have 'special attacks' for major works of older lenses and I do one of those a week.
But mainly I concentrate on tier 2 lenses, checking tags, fresh news on the topic etc and that's an hour in the evenings.
It's a matter of time available, if I don't have my computer time strictly divided into chunks of work I wouldn't have anything done. Squidoo is only one of my onlone interests

I try to update regularly but not as well organised as Susanna, but then again I don't have hundreds of lenses - yet, lol. But I am working on it.

Completely on whim, here. I mean - I can see which ones need it, and just keep a mental list (or am browsing them and notice something) but I'll either be in a lense-mood or not. For example, right now? Not.

Oh good...I thought I was the only unplanned one!

Well, yeah, I mean there's Buffy to watch, jobs to go to, paintings to do, Morrowind to play... and soon I'll be back at Uni (and THEN I can get down to some serious lens-editing XD )

While I've been striving toward Giant Squid status (first 50 then 100) I've been wonderfully motivated to revamp my lenses. However, after I pass the 100 mark not sure how good my discipline will be. I really do have to be in a certain mood...usually it's more fun creating then it is maintaining.

I don't have a schedule to maintain my lenses either. I've added bits and pieces to some of my older lenses, but once in a while (maybe once a month), I'll completely renovate a tier 3 lens. I find that when you do renovate a tier 3, it takes a long time for Google to notice, and when they do, chances are 50/50 on whether they give the lens any placement in the search.
I have quite a few lenses from when I started that need to be partially gutted and reworked... but like Energ-G stated, creating is usually a lot more fun!

If I am going to work towards becoming a Giant Squid I think I'm going to start writing an itinerary down for each day to let me know what to do. When I get online my mind usually goes blank trying to think of everything I need to do?
