If (big if) there wasn't a reason to be a Giant Squid...

...my cool-looking Giant Squid t-shirt I received in the mail today would be THE reason to be a Giant Squid!   Thanks Giant Squid organizers!  You guys (Robin, Patti, Bonnie, are there any more?) are the best!  smile

Yep,
Sorry Jimmie, I don't think Semper saw the post about it earlier sad (I've had my pic on my bio lens since the 20th, but I didn't want to advertise it) but the cat is out of the bag now!

Deb:  I was on vacation and didn't receive my shirt until a few days ago.  However, I did happen to come across that pic on your lens beforehand and realized what we were getting.   No biggy, though. wink

Matters not. I'm still happy to get a free gift!

It's still a surprise as to when it will arrive.

Re: If (big if) there wasn't a reason to be a Giant Squid...

Looking good.  Your fits a bit looser than mine does for some reason smile
I took some photos the night mine arrived, but I haven't had a chance to download them from the camera yet.  I also couldn't be bothered at the time to dig out the tripod, so trying to get the right angle and enough light was a problem.  Might have to retake them...
And then maybe I should add mine to my profile etc...

Re: If (big if) there wasn't a reason to be a Giant Squid...

I was thinking of getting mine framed and put it on our bedroom wall (that's where our computer is) for inspiration to keep up with my lenses and think of new ones.

Does anyone have a lens that highlights a company that does this service?

Re: If (big if) there wasn't a reason to be a Giant Squid...

Don't have anything that could help with framing, darn it!, Health Lady

Poddys, you're funny! I got a Large, and I'm swimming in it lol

Janet, lol, I'm sure some other's must have seen the pic before-hand too, but I'm glad they kept the secret for as long as possible wink I had my girlfriend take about 15 pics of me that day, and I just couldn't wait to put it on my Bio! I think I put it on another lens too, I just can't remember which one right now.

I still think Bonnie is going to cook something up with all the photos, so get them in to her..........should be very cool, with all of us in our shirts together! I can imagine a cool thing that's do-able with photo images, like blacking out all of our backgrounds, and trimming them, so it looks like we're all standing together.

And thanks ladies, for visiting and lookin' at me, and the complements!

Gods Love and mine,
Deb

It is quite a large large Deb, so it fits ok - incentive to lose more weight...

We ought to have a Giant Squid t-shirt competition.  A contest for who can wear their shirt in the most creative/unique place.

I'm sure the person to get a picture while underwater with real squids would certainly take the prize!  big_smile

@Johann
I saw yours yesterday on your lensography. Just too cute!!! That's about what my dogs look like in human clothes!

The rest of you just look too cute and normal in your pictures. I may have to reshoot mine. I tried to be goofy, but now I think I just look like a spaz compared to the rest of you. :-)

Thanks, Susan. Can you tell Mum had treats in her hand? Gimme!

Edit: Thanks Christene. I think we all look like a handsome/beautiful bunch! I can't wait to see all the pics.
